HyperCut heat transfer plates feature
a unique design of the distribution area
and the inlets and outlets.
First of all, this design improves
operational reliability.
A HyperCut plate is 30% stronger
than traditional plates
and is much more resistant to thermal
strain and fatigue.
Secondly, the HyperCut design
ensures an even distribution
of the media across the plates
and maximizes heat transfer.
A third benefit is that the pressure
drop over the distribution area
is 50% lower compared to
traditional plates.
This can reduce the load on
compressors or pumps
and lead to significant energy savings.
Or, the extra available pressure drop can
be used to increase the turbulence
over the heat transfer area,
resulting in better efficiency.
This makes it possible either to reduce
the size of the heat exchanger
and the associated CAPEX, or to
increase energy recovery
and thereby reduce the OPEX.
